Foundation of Lotfy Bronze
The ambitious vision for Lotfy Bronze Co. began in 1960.
It all
started with Mr. Mohamed Lotfy, a young technician fueled by
a passion for bronze craftsmanship in the heart of Cairo's
historic bronze district, Bolaq.
Mr. Mohamed Lotfy wasn't content with simply mastering the
traditional techniques – his thirst for innovation led him to
develop new manufacturing processes and methodologies.
He travelled abroad during his working period at Helwan
military factories to transfer the know –how of lathes
manufacturing this drive culminated in 1990 with the
establishment of the first Lotfy Bronze factory in Mit Halfa, one
of the biggest destinations for the bronze industry at that time.
The factory's mission: to deliver the highest quality bronze
products to the Egyptian market and lay the foundation for the
brand's enduring reputation.
This was the cornerstone upon which the second generation, led by both sons
Mr. Ahmed Lotfy & Eng. Osama Lotfy that
build upon their commitment to excellence
included the establishment of a new factory
in 6th of October, equipped with cutting-edge
machinery and rigorous quality assurance
practices.
This expansion ensured Lotfy Bronze Co.
could not only meet the demands of the local
market but also export their high end quality standard products to the international stage.
